Now, an official OnePlus video posted on the Snapdragon Tech Summit website has revealed that OnePlus will launch a Snapdragon 888-toting flagship in the first half of 2021.

“We believe that the technological innovation of this flagship platform in 5G, games, camera, and other aspects will contribute to the high-end flagship to be launched by OnePlus in (the) first half of next year,” an executive says in the video.

OnePlus isn’t the only brand to confirm details regarding a Snapdragon 888 phone for next year. Realme has teased details and images of its Race smartphone. Xiaomi also noted that the Snapdragon 888-toting Mi 11 would be launched “very soon,” with Redmi GM Lu Weibing adding that the Redmi sub-brand will offer it as well.

Oppo also said in an official video that its upcoming Find X flagship will be powered by the SoC and will launch in the first quarter of 2021. The brand previously confirmed that the Find X3 would offer comprehensive support for 10-bit colors.

Otherwise, Qualcomm showed off a graphic on-stage yesterday (seen above), naming more device partners. Prominent names listed include Asus, Black Shark, Nubia, LG, and Vivo.

It’s worth noting that names like Google, Samsung, and Sony are missing, but we wouldn’t read too much into this. For example, the 2019 edition of this graphic didn’t list Google, Realme, or Sony, but only Google failed to deliver a Snapdragon 865 series phone in 2020.
