"Felt Blessed": PM At Delhi Gurdwara; No Traffic Curbs For His Visit
"It is the special Kripa of the Guru Sahibs that we will mark the special occasion of the 400th Parkash Parv of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji during our Government's tenure," PM Modi said in another tweet.
"Let us mark this blessed occasion in a historic way and celebrate the ideals of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji," he added.
The Prime Minister also tweeted his tributes in Punjabi and shared pictures of his visit.
As per reports, tributes were also paid to Guru Tegh Bahadur at protests sites near Delhi borders, where thousands of farmers have been protesting against the government's new agricultural laws.
PM Modi on Saturday yet again defended the laws saying: "Agriculture reforms initiated six months back have started benefitting farmers."
His comments yesterday came after he had said on Friday: "If anyone has any concerns, then with our heads bowed and our hands folded, with humility, we are willing to discuss with them and assuage their fears."
